A parade of pachyderms in my postal portal today…

@leolikesdvorak sent a look back in time, to a hundred years ago…and the circus is in town! It’s an elephant parade along New York City’s Fifth Avenue in 1921. Thank you, Leo! I’m glad I got to take my daughter to the Ringling Bros. / Barnum & Bailey a few years back, before they folded the tent forever. We even got picked out of the crowd to be part of a levitation act.

What’s nice now is that they are able to do more for themselves. 
From @uconn a summer treats postcard. Yummy! My favorite was the orangesicle (aka Dreamsicle) from the ice cream truck in the neighborhood. But fresh from the farm sounds better!
From @theosprey247 a photo of Uranus taken by Voyager 2. Amazing technology! You were lucky to see stars at night…in the city there was too much light (although I don’t think we called it light pollution in the 60s.)
