Love this but it won’t let me add the emoji without filling out the “ what are you doing” part. What am I doing wrong?
Yes, it’s correct that you have to write a text in addition to choosing the emoji. The text can be anything, as long as its appropriate. I haven’t tested, but it might work with just a space.

I’ve seen some just repeat the emoji in the text part, so that obviously works too.

I’m not sure where to write this about question/problem. I checked my forum badges today, and I noticed that I don’t have Nice topic badge. I have 5 topics with more than 10 likes. I don’t understand why I haven’t reach this badge so far. Is it a bag or I misunderstood something about this badge?

I think it is possible that lotteries are not considered for the nice topic badge

As far as I know, (some) badges are not available for topics that are in a closed category - i.e. topics with a

What do I have to do to be able to create a topic in #trades-requests-offers and others with a lock symbol on it? I couldn’t find anything helpful about that myself…
As long as you’re able to see the categories with a lock you’re allowed to create topics there as well. Just look for the “+ New Topic” button in the top, right corner.
I can see them but the button doesn’t work. It’s in a lighter gray and this symbol 
appeares if I try to klick on it.
I tested this, too. I noticed that if I go to any of the main categories (with or without lock) I can’t use the “new topic” button, but if I go to the subcategory, the button works. So, if one goes to #trades-requests-offers one has to pick for example #trades-requests-offers:penpals and then one is able to add a new topic.

How can I get badges Certified & Licensed? I’ve been here for years and I still haven’t managed to get them and I don’t know how it happens.
If you go to the badges page, you can click on each badge. This will bring up information about the badge, an who has earned it.
“Certified
This badge is granted upon successful completion of the interactive new user tutorial. You’ve taken the initiative to learn the basic tools of discussion, and now you have been certified!”
“Licensed
This badge is granted upon successful completion of the interactive advanced user tutorial. You’ve mastered the advanced tools of discussion — and now you’re fully licensed!”
You should have received a PM from @postbot when you joined the forum, with the title “Greetings”. If you find it, you can reply to that PM to start the basic tutorial, and when that’s completed you can do the advanced tutorial. If you don’t find it, you should be able to send a PM to @postbot saying “@postbot start tutorial” (if I remember correctly). If that doesn’t work, try “@postbot display help”. If you’ve set the forum language to Finnish (or another lanuage that isn’t English), you’ll have to write “start tutorial” or “display help” in that language.
