Missing "Welcome" when new members posted the 1st time

Since today I’m missing the friendly “Welcome” when new members posted for the first time in the forum

Is that a bug or is this message no longer available after the Update of Discourse?

I’ve seen this message here and there.

Yes, I can see older messages, too.

But a member of the german forum joined today and when she posted for the first time there was no “Welcome”.

Although we updated Discourse yesterday, I think it’s still working:

I think it’s still working, too. I had a look at one of the German lottery topics where I knew I’d find a new post from someone and the text appears above the post.

Moin zusammen! Da treibt es mich nach jahrelanger Abstinenz mal wieder zum Offi schreiben und dann auch noch ins Forum und nun bin ich völlig verwirrt, weil ich das Ende des Threads nicht finde. Aber das wird mich hoffentlich nicht abschrecken und ich freue mich auf neue und alte Gesichter.

I saw one that was posted 30 minutes ago that had the new poster message above it.

How strange, Betze got her welcome text yesterday.

Not sure why it’s not on that one.

But it seems to be working for others so the feature still works. Perhaps there’s some exception we are not aware of.

If it keeps happen with others, let us know here and we’ll take a closer look.
