@FoxPos and @anon7793644 thank you for your posts.
FYI: Postcrossing manages postal flow by ISO-3166 “countries.” It treats each country as a whole, and will not filter based on a temporary regional/local suspension.
My heart goes out to the flood victims in China as well as in Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg and surrounding countries.
Ukraine Post has never said that they could not send mail to Taiwan, but I’m afraid Postcrossing’s data shows otherwise… We’re still keeping an eye on the situation, and will unlock this connection when we see signs that the flow of mail has improved.
Re India Post update just posted, for postcards, should we look at the letter column? When was Australia added back to the letter column? Hopefully it has been added back!
@meiadeleite you can check complete list of Notification in this link:
To further update you on suspension of mails to Australia was notified on 02Jun2021, even in that Notification, it is read that Air Parcel and ITPS are suspended. So, it covers ITPS which also implies to normal mails.
Our understanding is that ITPS means International Tracked Package Service. Moreover, EMS is Express Service. They can certainly transport letters/postcards, but typically it is more expensive and not used by postcrossers.
Since India Post published information specifically about which countries work for letter post, we are following that since that’s the class of mail items such as postcards.
@manjulaz, welcome to the forum and thank you for your post.
We are keeping track of regular letter post (because that’s how we send postcards).
We are not keeping track of EMS, Urgent/Express, Certified, Parcel/Package, etc.
For Sri Lanka, the “Letter/Register” column is the one we are watching.
