It’s a special day, come and celebrate it together: World Postcard Day
Sylvia and I organize a meetup at World Postcard Day in Alkmaar, the date is Sunday 1 October 2023. It is still a bit far away, so the details (parking, meetupcard, lunch and payment method in restaurant etc.) will follow later in Summer. The restaurant is still tentative for the time being and can be changed to one of the neighbor restaurants, because they have renovation plans.
We gather at 11:30 o’clock in the restaurant for coffee, chit-chat, writing cards & books with a lunch break in between. I will try to arrange that we can use the PostNL cancelation date stamp, but because it is a Sunday, I can’t promise that. So after the meetup (approximately 15 o’clock ???) you are free to go home or we can go to a PostNL shop together, or you can go shopping or visit the museum.
There’s a chance I won’t be there myself, and then Sylvia will be the host. But of course I hope to be there and see you all.
