#11 reporting one card received today after the 4-day holiday, from #6 @mikeyz1. Love, Love, Love the metaphoric peace image! :purple_heart: And a Peace Corps stamp, too! The first time I was in Ukraine, I bumped into two young men who were in the Peace Corps on a day off to visit a museum. I was there for a democracy education project; they were there for a women’s health project. We sat in a cafe in a square, shared experiences and ideas … I’d forgotten about this amazing afternoon! Your card brought back the memory. May Peace come soon. Like, yesterday! :dove:

#6 @mikeyz1 Berenstain Bears! Thank you! Your daughter may also like the Dinofours when she turns 4! They are such good books for adults and kids, alike. I miss teaching preschool! We moved across country at the beginning of covid and I haven’t returned to teaching… yet!

#8 @Shesa-Renegade it is so touching to hear how the sea turtles were such a magical experience for your students! I love the card you sent from The Bahamas! Our family friend is a Citizen Scientist on Coronado Island. She reports her sightings because she paddle boards or kayaks every day and is familiar with the turtles and their habitats. She is called the Turtle Whisperer (locally).
