You can fill in a help request here.

And just fill in as much as you can. The PC team can help you find it. :+1:t2:

On this subject though…are you sure it’s an official card, and not something for a forum lottery, tag or round robin?

One can always find the Search for ID form on the Regist Postcard page.

I don’t know if there is already a thread about this or not. But have you ever received a card from someone and not know why?

I received this lovely card from Enrique. It doesn’t have an ID number or mention a tag or lottery. It does have an address but no username. Enrique, are you out there?

Maybe it is not from Postcrossing? I have had cards from other correspondents recenty and was trying to rationalize them in terms of ID number but then realised the context.

I’m guessing this card is from @princeofasturias.

@maleko You are correct! It is from me.

@littlesthobo Hi Ali, there is no ID number. This is from the “I would like a stamp with a theme of …. on my card - tag”. Glad to see it arrived.

Thanks so much @maleko from making the connection.

Thanks, Enrique, for the beautiful card and the great stamps!

Mystery solved.

Dear Nina from Germany,
Received your postcard to Toome2 but can not find an ID nummer, please help!

Have you already tried to use the ID search?

Hi, there is no ID on it.

@Toome2 - you can use the unknown ID form that @Jarana mentioned even when there’s no ID at all. Just fill out the information you have.

WHO has send me this postcard?

The subject is from Argentina but the card was postmarked in Russia.
Unfortunately there is no ID and no name on it, so I don’t know if it is an official card or if it was sent to me through the forum.
The Postcrossing team could not help me either.

And again I have the problem here: NO ID on the card and the Postcrossing team couldn’t help me either…

Does anyone know Jakub from Kamenice? This is what the card looks like:

What about postcrosser @jakubm98

The postmark is dated 15.12.2023 so it cannot be him, as he has only been there since 19.12.2023
But thanks for the hint
