wow these are amazing… Germany already announced twice video-games related stamps but always first had them in the annual plan just to postpone them then again and strike them out of the programm again… makes me really sad. T.T

Franco Zeffirelli (film director), issued february 12:
He is depicted with two sketches he made for teather plays he directed: Cavalleria Rusticana at Milano’s Teatro Alla Scala in 1978 and Antony and Cleopatra for New York’s Metropolitan Opera House in 1966.
As usual it’s a B, valid for domestic 20g.

Stamps on Bridal Costumes of India were issued on February 12th. These are unlikely to be used for postcards because the denomination is slightly higher than the postcard rate.

Yes, the costumes shown are from eight Indian states. The state names are mentioned on the stamp.

I know 
Speaking as a Canadian who would love to celebrate our stamps, it’s extremely frustrating that Canada Post chooses to put out the information in little dribbles like this! I’m puzzled by it, honestly.
But in the meantime I’ve bought lots of Chloe Cooley stamps

I still have some hope the new Director of Stamp Services Bronwyn Graves will change things a bit. It is odd as the vast majority of postal services elsewhere do publish images & dates months/years in advance.
It may also have to do with how poorly funded this part of Canada Post is too.
