I like this idea too. But I prefer the standard size of the envelope. The great think is that you can print everything on it or continue the theme of the postcard.

They look amazing! My sister saved me an old wallpaper sample book that was for the dump and i have been making envelopes from it. They look so special.

I use calendar from last year for this aerogramme style envelope. I sometimes also use it as aerogramme itself and write on it before folding. I have also used clean, thick brown bag from grocery stores for the same with the store name on the outside for the local flair.

I bought them in Taobao. You can search them in AliExpress or Amazon.
I don’t buy templates.
I make them myself.
First, choose a plain (used) envelope.
Carefully loosen that one.
Unfold it and place it on a piece of sturdy thin cardboard.
You can use a book cover or the back page of a calendar for this.
Draw an outline.
Cut the shape out of the cardboard and your template is ready!
You can make a number of different sizes this way.
