What should I bring? The last meetup I went to was five years ago at a postcard convention, so thisāll be a different experience for me.

A decade ago. Since 2016 Iāve attended the San Diego meetups and Iāve done one in Jakarta (2021). I will make way to Montclair via the Silver Streak bus directly from downtown LA. I look forward to meeting you and everyone as well (I noticed some familiar faces might attend there!).

We will have meetup-specific cards available to purchase ahead of time ā more details to come soon.
You are not obligated to purchase these cards. But I do recommend, if you have the time and resources, purchasing a rubber stamp so that you can āsignā your cards and everyone elseās cards without having to physically sign all of them. Personally, I like http://thestampmaker.com as they have a couple of cute āclip artā options and it wonāt break the bank. I was able to add my Postcrossing and Instagram handles and it ran me about $25.
Generally you want to keep the stamp image to about 1 square inch, since we will have many attendees (itās looking like!).
But please feel free to get creative with your unique stamp. If you wish to mail the cards immediately following the event, you may want to bring stickers, washi, postage stamps, your address book, etc. so that you can prep the cards on-site. Iāve also been known to have like 20 pens on me at any given timeā¦ a trait I inherited from my dad

Yes, for our postcard we will have a small fee that offsets our cost of printing the cards and the designerās time in putting the design together. We will have those details available soon! Weāll start taking orders when the design debuts (at least thatās my hope).
