Hi everyone!
@MoominMog and I are Midlands based and would love to organise a meet-up in Birmingham. There doesn’t seem to be a meet-up organised in the Midlands at the moment, although of course EVERYONE is welcome, wherever you live! Birmingham is well connected for public transport.
If you would like to attend but have any requirements around accessibility, diet or anything else you want to make us aware of, please just drop us a message and we’ll definitely be able to make something work!
We hope to meet some fellow Postcrossers!
Please make sure to read the Meetup Guidelines before signing up for a meetup.
I have marked going already as of course I will be there! I am really looking forward to this!
Some suggestions for locations I had were - IKON galley, Library of Birmingham (good postcard selection last time I went), ThinkTank Science Museum (Millenium Point right near where HS2 will be) and of course I will only suggest the finest coffee shops/pubs as a true coffee snob hahaha .
Just tagging a few other people who have been involved with the British Isles forum but as @MoominMog said - no pressure, just for info. Everyone is welcome!
For me it’s in between night shifts which isn’t the worst worst! A 1-4 session would be feasible for me if I can catch a kip in the car somewhere!
Please put me down for a maybe.
I’ve been to ThinkTank before and it was super (I studied the hypocycloidal engine in college), but I believe you also have the world’s largest Greggs and a Disney cafe…
