Meeting results:
The first meeting of postcrossers in Yoshkar-Ola took place. The meeting took place in a cozy, bright and modern library.
There were 10 participants at the meeting, three of them were guests from Kazan, Cheboksary and Moscow: @Imperatricekate @DarinaTwi @Masha_Barbarisova @elenakuk @Daria_1991 @19art_m @miriginger
About 330 postcards were signed in a friendly company, which will scatter to their recipients all over the world today: America, Germany, Italy, Belarus and, of course, Russia (more than 20 regions).
Specially for the meeting, the participant prepared a delicious cherry pie. During the exciting business of signing postcards, the participants shared their postcrossing secrets: where do they buy postcards and stamps, how often do they send postcards, how do they design and decorate the backs of postcards, what are their favorite topics in postcards.
And despite the heavy rain and hail, the postcrossers did not deviate from the chosen route: signing postcards in the library - taking a photo with the Yoshkin Kot monument (it is shown on the postcard) - sending postcards at the Main Post Office.
On this day, April 30, in addition to our meeting, 8 more meetings took place: Omsk, Novosibirsk, Vitebsk (Belarus), Karaganda (Kazakhstan), London (Great Britain), New York (USA) - 2 pcs., Taiwan. Thanks to the global postcrossing, our participants also exchanged postcards with participants in other meetings on April 30th.
