The second Zoo Meeting is in the starting blocks. I help out as a volunteer at the all-weather zoo.
A lot has happened at the zoo in the last few months. The Meranti Hall is finished and is now home to the red varis, tapir, howler monkey, giant otter, charcoal tortoise, anteater and many more. Most of the outdoor facilities of the hall should also be finished by September, and part of it is already in place.
Also new are the sloth bears
Bennett’s kangaroos and the red dog since 2023 (if I remember correctly).
It’s also another nice opportunity
to say goodbye to Robben Haven, unfortunately it is only staying for this year.
The all-weather zoo is famous for its name because you can see almost all the animals in all weathers. There are many animal houses where you can go in when the animals are not outside.
The all-weather zoo also has the horse museum and is part of the ACCB’s species conservation programme.
The zoo is constantly developing, also in terms of climate protection.
There are 3 shops where you can buy great tickets in between.

2.30pm for those who want to go to the Robbenhaven. The rest can go on to the restaurant or wait. Everyone as he likes.
The restaurant is located in the zoo and anyone who only wants to come to the restaurant should bear in mind that they still have to pay the entrance fee.
The current price is
22.90 for adults
Seniors over 65 pay 19.90
People with an H or B can take an accompanying person with them free of charge. If you don’t have one, you can perhaps share the entrance fee.
You can also get cheaper admission via special websites.
The car park costs 4 euros per day.

Das zweite Zoo Meeting steht in den Startlöchern. Ich helfe selber ehrenamtlich im Allwetterzoo aus.
Im Zoo hat sich viel getan in den letzten Monaten. Die Meranti Halle ist fertig und beherbergt nun die roten Varis, Tapir, Brüllaffe , Riesenotter, Köhlerschildkröter , Ameisenbär und noch viele mehr. Bis September sollte das meiste der Außenanlagen der Halle auch fertig sein, ein Teil steht jetzt schon.
Ausserdem neu sind die Lippenbären
,Bennett Kängerus. und der Rothund seit 2023 ( wenn ich mich richtig erinnere ).
Es ist auch nochmal eine schöne Gelegenheit
Dem Robben Haven tschüss zu sagen, leider bleibt er nur noch dieses Jahr .
Der Allwetterzoo ist für seinen Namen bekannt, da man fast alle Tiere bei Wind und Wetter sehen kann. Man hat viele Tierhäuser wo man rein kann, wenn die Tiere nicht draußen sind.
Der Allwetterzoo hat auch das Pferdemuseum und ist Teil des Artenschutzes des ACCB .
Der Zoo entwickelt sich immer weiter auch was den Klimaschutz angeht.
Es gibt 3 Shops wo ihr zwischendurch tolle Karten kaufen könnt.

14.30 Uhr wer Lust hat Vorstellung im Robbenhaven. Der Rest kann weiter gehen Richtung Restaurant oder warten. Jeder wie er mag.
Das Restaurant befindet sich im Zoo und jeder der nur zum Restaurant kommen will, sollte bedenken, das er trotzdem den Eintritt zahlen muss.

Senioren ab 65 zahlen 19,90
Personen mit einen H oder B können einen Begleitperson kostenlos mitnehmen. Wer keine hat kann sich den Eintritt vielleicht teilen.
Man kann über spezielle Seiten auch den Eintritt günstiger bekommen.
Parkplatz kostet 4 Euro am Tag.
