Hi! I’m relatively new here.

I just learned about NPCW. Have you heard of it? How will you celebrate it?

National Postcard Week is an annual event to promote the use of postcards, held in the first full week of May since 1984. Started in the US, it is also celebrated by collectors in other countries.

I didnt know about it either! I will have to look around and see if I can find any events or sales near me or online.

I hope you find something! I found some cute cards. If I get them in time I will host my first lottery. I’m very excited!

National Postcard Week 2021

DID YOU KNOW??? The first full week of May in the U.S. is National Postcard Week (NPCW). The annual event started back in 1984 as a way to promote the use of postcards. To celebrate the occasion, postcard clubs and deltiologists print commemorative postcards to be swapped with others. 2021 is the 38th annual NPCW. Below is the card I designed for this year’s NPCW. And yes, that’s me on the card. [NPCW]

I wish we had a National Postcard Week, or something to encourage people to send more postcards, here in the UK!!!
