Hello at all,
this year I would like to show you the beautiful Christmas land Ore Mountains. I’ve booked the “Hotel am Kunnerstein” in Augustusburg for us from 16.-18.12.2022. I have 7 double rooms and 7 single rooms.
The single room costs 63,00 € per night with breakfast, the double room 95,00 € per night with breakfast.

If you won’t stay with us at this hotel, you can also book your own accommodation. There’s a youth hostel in the castle for example.

Here’s the programm for these days:

Friday, 16.12.2022
Check In in the hotel and a little walk in the historic part of the city Augustusburg in the late afternoon around 4.30 pm
Dinner at the hotel around 6.30 pm and afterwarts, there’s the possibility to play Bowling in the hotel (I’ve booked two bowling alleys for uns)

Saturday, 17.12.2022
From 10.30 am we will visit the castle Augustusburg. You can decide what you would like to see. It’s possible to do a guided tour or you can visit the museums (biker museum or castle museum - a kind of nature museum) or the special exhibition about elector August of Saxony. Entrance is about 8,00 € per person
Around 12.30 am we go back to the hotel for lunch and signing the cards.
Around 4.30 pm we will start a bus tour through the Ore Mountains with a stop at the Christmas Market in Annaberg-Buchholz (around 1 hour). It’s a lighting tour because the Ore Mountains are well-known for all its candle arches and other lights in the windows. So it’s really romantic here in the Christmas time. I’m looking forward to it every year.
Around 9 pm we will be back at the hotel in Augustusburg.
Costs for the bus tour around 15,00 € per person, it depends on the number of participants.

Sunday, 18.12.2022
In the morning at 10.30 pm we will do a special guided tour in the castle Augustusburg, a time ride back to the 16th century with historic costumes. We will get lots of information about the living in this time. The tour will be 1,5 hours and costs 13,00 € per person.
Please note: This tour is limited to 25 people. It will be also the culturel part of the 3. castle meeting Augustusburg in the year 2023 (there isn’t any exact date yet).

I’m looking forward to show you my home area in this special time of the year. Please send me a message if you like to take part and let me know, which type of room you would like to have. It’s also possible to take part as day guest on Saturday (or even Sunday if there are any places left on the tour).

In Absprache mit unserer Organisatorin @dancingqueen_germany möchte ich für das Meeting eine Meetingkarte anbieten. Die Karten werden nicht mehr als 30 Cent kosten, höchstwahrscheinlich weniger. Bestellungen bitte über Message an mich, nicht hier im Thread. Die Höchstbestellmenge beträgt 50 Stück pro Teilnehmer. Bestellungen werden bis zum 15.11.22 angenommen.

Hallo an alle,

es sind noch Zimmer frei im Hotel. Wer also gerne dabei sein möchte, kann sich noch bei mir anmelden. Leider hat das Hotel die Preise erhöht. Ich hbae bereits nachgefragt, ob das auch für uns gilt, aber noch keine Rückmeldung erhalten. Hier sind die angepassten Preise (laut Webseite):

Einzelzimmer: 63 € / Nacht inkl. Frühstück
Doppelzimmer: 95 € / Nacht inkl. Frühstück

Ich behalte alle aktuellen Änderungen etc. im Blick und informiere euch, falls unser Programm nicht so stattfinden kann wie geplant. Die Lichterfahrt wird allerdings auch ca. 20.00 € pro Person kosten. Ich werde versuchen, dass eventuell auch Nicht-Postcrosser aus meinem Umfeld mitfahren, damit wir den Bus voll besetzt haben und somit der Beitrag pro Person weniger wird.

Wahrscheinlich habt ihr schon gesehen, dass es eine Meetingkarte gibt. Bitte klärt alles Bezüglich Bestellung mit Mella68. Ich werde in den nächsten Tagen auch noch eine entwerfen und dann hier hochladen.

Hallo an alle,
hier kommt nun meine Meetingkarte. Zu sehen sind oben das Schloss Augustusburh und unten der Annaberger Weihnachtsmarkt. Die Fotos sind von mir selbst aufgenommen. Die Karte wird zwischen 0,25 € und 0,30 € kosten, je nachdem, wieviel vorbestellt werden. Ich würde auch darauf gehen wie bei Mella68 mit der Höchstbestellmenge 50 Stück pro Postcrosser.
Ich werde euch alle auch im Laufe der nächsten Woche nochmal anschreiben.
