It’s endemic to the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and is non-migratory.

I received this great postcard with American White Pelicans:
Willow Ptarmigan, Lagopus lagopus. This bird is from tundra regions and high mountaintops. This is in its winter plumage. (Postcard received in a forum giveaway.)

Oh, my last post here was in October . So I have a lot of birds to share. I think I will start with the seagulls today!
The “Dünendiva” (dune diva) from my last post is now accompanied by a “Plattschnacker” (someone who talks in (Northern) slang/dialect). After the lottery last time @Pappipapa743 has drawn my address officially last December. It maybe is an European herring gull?
