Why are some categories and sections marked with locks?
Although we can open there new topics and post comments.
Those topics are locked so that only Forum members who are signed in can view them, just as they were on the old Forum.

Locks can also shown next to a topic: in that case it means the topic was closed and can no longer be replied to.
