Does anyone happen to know why the USPS site says that this stamp has been discontinued? It’s supposed to go on sale today. They did print 24 million of these so maybe it’s a mistake.
Hello, I think the site is okay now. It no longer says discontinued. I was just now able to add this stamp to the cart.

This also happened when the western wear came out, and in the past with the spooky. After a few days they were available. I believe the inventory becomes low and they make them unavailable until more are produced. Frankly, choosing the term discontinued is poor as that is not really the case.
I preorder all the time because from day to day at times, some stamp designs just disappear off the site.
And sometimes they magically reappear! Ravens were gone but then popped up, so I ordered two sheets. Now they are gone again.
