While I’ve never put them in a pretty diagonal as shown, I have occasionally put one or two on the message (left side) of the card when I ran out of room on the address (right side) — or when I want the recipient to have a nice stamp without a big blotchy cancellation.
Thank you for not posting with that incredibly boring International Forever stamp! Those of us outside the US receiving cards from the US salute you!
