What’s the thoughts about the UN cities Vienna, NY and Geneva as special destinations with there own code when cards are posted out from the UN buildings with the UN stamps? It would be interesting to get one of those cards in the mail!

If I remember correctly, Postcrossing’s two digit “country” code refers to ISO standard 3166-1 and the UN is not not listed there and Abkhazia isn’t either, but e. g. Åland islands, Guam or the Isle of Man are listed there. So the UN and Abkhazia are not countries in the sense of Postcrossing, while Åland Islands, Guam and the Isle of Man are, although they are not recognized as independent states.
