Community newspapers are such a great place to spread the word about Postcrossing! They’re hyper local, informal, and seeing something nice and happy there written by another resident of the community is just a highlight… and perhaps a welcome change from other, more serious things going on. 
Postcrosser @mezzanine2 from Vancouver wrote a piece for the Renfrew-Collingwood community newspaper last year:
