Remembering Ukraine!

In yesterday’s paper, a chilling account of a Russian missile attack on the Ukrainian city of Vinnytsia, where 23 civilians were killed, and 140 injured. Among the victims, 4-year-old Liza Dmytriyeva, who was on her way to an appointment with her speech therapist. Liza was killed; her mother was severely injured. Vinnytsia is a city far from from the front. Such attacks are intended to terrorize the people of Ukraine.
Here in the US, we can contribute to various relief efforts (and we should!), but after six months of this brutal, illegal, and senseless war, we grow weary of hearing bad news. But we must not close our eyes!
Besides the relief efforts, why not reach out in a personal way to one of the many Ukrainian members listed here? Choose just one and send that person a few words of encouragement and support. Let them know they are not forgotten!

Thank you for supporting, unexpected post :blue_heart::yellow_heart:
