Since its inception in 1998, The International Lighthouse and Lightship Weekend, a day of tribute to these mighty beacons is held on the 3rd weekend of August every year. This year, the auspicious occasion falls on August 21st and we are saddling up for a celebration and having a postcrossing meetup.
