I have been thinking about this topic since the beginning of 2020. When I joined postcrossing last year, the post offices in Hong Kong still offered stamps in stamp vending machines. Several months later, I realized that they stopped doing so. Instead, they replaced beautiful stamps with boring postage labels, which disappointed me a lot (I know labels have some advantages over stamps, but it just feels different when you stick stamps on your postcards.
