There is something I am curious about. There are some members, for example, they became members in 2015 and received very few cards. How that happens? So shouldn’t old members have gotten more cards? How is this determined?
Hello, it only depends on how many cards you send yourself, I’m a member since 2013 but only sent about 50 cards so I also receive about 50 cards
Somebody sends, maybe, one card in the month or even one card at the every celebration day…
Thank you. So for example, the more cards i send, the more cards i receive. There are a few exceptions though. @Bouh
Yes, usually you get one card back for every card you send. The algorithm sometimes gives you a few more cards than you sent to balance things out, but it should even out in the long term.
You can also go inactive like I have. I send a few cards here and there but my address hasn’t gone out to anyone since December.
As other users wrote, you get for each card you send one card back.
I recommend you to read the FAQ to understand better how postcrossing works
Thank you for the information @Bille
