I received a lovely postcard from Russia today but one that does not have a postcard ID on it. How do I go about finding out the ID so I can register it and thank the sender?
Click the link to register a postcard, and on that page there will be a little box directing you where to ask for help if there is no ID

@mundoo Are you able to help me how to cancel a request? The FAQ says to cancel it once I register it but I don’t see that option.

If you don’t see the option at the top of your Received list then it has already been cancelled.
