Well I won’t be getting any mail today or tomorrow and maybe later, no I can’t see into the future it’s due to living so close to the River and there being heavy rainfall due to the last two storms that hit the UK. The river is currently 4.01m above normal levels, I managed to get out of my home to take these photos.

It’s part and parcel for where I live, at least my property remains dry as I live on the first floor.

Oh no! You always seem to get dreadful flooding in York. All that water coming down from the Dales. We once stayed in a riverside house just by the confluence of the two rivers. I often think of it, and how it must get flooded during rain events like this.
