Christmas 2022, issued december 7:
As usual:
- one religious themed (“St. Francis establishes the nativity scene in Greccio” painting by Coppo Marcovaldo in the Bardi chapel of Florence’s Santa Croce basilica);
- one graphical with a stripe forming a Christmas tree.
Instead it’s unusual:
- the triangular shape of the graphical one, I don’t remember other italian stamps like this;
- the late date of issue, normally set for december 1, if one has to send wishes abroad.
And also it’s very strange the B value (domestic 20g) for both, while the normality would have been a B and a Bzone1 (EU 20g).
In that way three tariffs would have been easily covered:
- B for domestic;
- B zone 1 for EU;
- 2x B for extra EU (equals to a B zone 2)
Bilateral diplomatic relationships with Georgia 30 years, issued december 7:

It’s a B zone 2 valid for extra EU 20g, that in fact is the tariff for sending to Georgia.

Late Christmas stamps, late europa stamps. What is wrong with your postal services? Beautiful designs. I like especially the Italy-Georgia diplomatic relations stamp.

December 12th : India Post issued a stamp on Pa Togan Sangma’s 150th death anniversary. He was a freedom fighter from the Garo tribe in Meghalaya.

The stamp for stampweek 2022 in Malaysia, Leisure Activities
Here is a photo of the postmarks on the stamps. Only during stamp week, Pos Malaysia have special postmark for each of their stamps which can only be found at one location throughout the country. (Usually the HQ at Dayabumi, KL or Petaling Jaya Community Library. This year, the latter is chosen)
