Coinciding with International Women’s Day, Correos issues a new stamp as part of the #8MTodoElAño campaign, which the logistics company launched in 2022 and continues to grow today, in tribute to several emblematic figures who have played a fundamental role in the progress for equality and women’s rights in Spain.

Some ceremonies are held indoors, but I prefer the ones that are held outdoors. They tend to be more fun, with more activities (usually related to the stamp/stamps theme) and an informal atmosphere. There’s a meet-and-greet, stamps sales and cancellations. Which you get the pictorial cancellations, plus the First Day of Issue cancellation. I highly encourage everyone to go to a Dedication Ceremony! Don’t forget to bring postcards for the hand cancellations

Jersey Post 
Being released on 4th April, the Jersey West Railway.
Jersey once had an extensive railway system, sadly they all closed in the 1930s.
These stamps a personal favourite as the trackbed from St Helier to La Corbiére is now a hiking/cycle trail which I walked back in the summer of 2022, really crying out for a tram system on the Island.

Edison society 140 years, issued march 15:
The society was founded in Milano in 1884 by initiative of professor Giuseppe Colombo, who built in 1883 the first european power plant in St.Radegonda road, very close to Milano’s Duomo, with the Edison system.
