These three are going to be issued in Czech Republic this month!!
News from Russia) these two series were issued this week:
traditional arts - Fedoskino lacquer miniature
flowers - irises
I saw the lovely iris stamps, thank you for showing them.
What I am surprised about is their 56R denomination. What are they for? On www.pochta.ru I saw a ´slow´ rate of 52R, and a ´fast´ rate of 58R? What is happening? What is the difference between the 2 rates for almost the same amount?
Thanks in advance for any reply.
Excellent
What a beautiful one!
Oh, this question is under discussion in Russian topics)) the idea is that 58r is a price for air mail, and 52r for land mail, for some countries we have only one of this delivery methods, and for others it’s supposed to be chosen by the sender. More experienced postcrossers are telling that in fact there is no difference and all the things are traveling together. As for me, I use 58r amount for “far” countries (USA, China, etc) and 52r for Europe.
And of course these stamps could be used not only for usual postcards&letters but for other items which have higher delivery costs both inside and outside of Russia.
Love puffins

We postcrossers are still outraged by the denominations of our Russian stamps.
Omg how amazing!! Did they post the new motives for May?
Will stock up on beetles once they’re out… My inner insect lover is screaming right now.
The Ministry of Finance shows three of the five stamps. The other two they probably forgot to upload.
