Specifications of handmade postcards???
I am learning Madhubani painting and want to try my hand at making my own postcards.
Please help me with the kind of paper and how to make them sturdy.

I’ve never heard of Madhubani painting. Postcrossing is such an education! Just googled it and it looks amazing! What type of paint will you be using? For sending in the post, I agree with @snailmailermk a minimum of 300gsm. Different paints and papers may require sealing to make it waterproof (several ways) Looking forward to seeing you creations!

I am doing Kachni, which is basically black and white. I am still underconfident.
I am trying a few handmade cards these days, in the Madhubani techniques. I am inspired from Mauritius- my beautiful country.
I am trying my best and have much to improve.
