[LOTTERY] ** North America/NA WOTM June 2023 **

My husband was the innocent hand in drawing the winner’s name from the great cards I received in May and now it’s time for you to send a card to June’s winner, and take a shot at receiving lots of cards yourself!

If you have any questions feel free to send me a message

How to enter:

● Post in this thread (or send me a private message) that you would like to play, and I’ll send you the winner’s address. Remember, it’s a SURPRISE, so don’t tell them!
● Choose a postcard to send the winner. (Check their Postcrossing profile for postcards they like.)
● IMPORTANT: Be sure to clearly write YOUR username on the card and include your complete name and your address (a return address label is perfect) so that you can be entered into next month’s drawing.
● Also write NA WOTM + month & year on the card (NA WOTM JUNE 2023).
● Mail the card to this month’s winner ASAP once you receive the address, and you’ll be eligible to win if your postcard arrives on or before the last day of the month (June 30, 2023).
● At the end of the month, this month’s NA WOTM will choose a random card from all eligible cards they received and that person will be the winner for next month.
● The current winner will also pick a “pseudo-winner", or decoy. This is the person whose address the real winner will be given so that it will remain a surprise to the real winner until the postcards start showing up.
● You can only win once in a rolling 12-month cycle, but please send a card to the current winner!

Send this month’s winner one postcard for your chance to be the NA Winner of the Month for next month, July 2023!

:confetti_ball: :confetti_ball: It is confirmed that I am this month’s winner. Fingers crossed that my mailbox remains functioning unlike May’s WOTM @sannah82. Thanks to your husband for drawing my card.

A big thank you to…

@uconn for my first carousel horse card. This was a recent add to my profile. Bonus–very cool vintage stamps!

@RockyRoadTrip for a Puerto Rico map card. I have also cruised from there. I would love to return for a stay on the island.

@Annazon for a Magic Eye 3-D Optical Illusion Card from 1994. At first I thought it was a volcano but that seemed strange for a red/white/blue card. It took some time before I noticed more detail to see the Liberty Bell. I wonder if you can see the hidden image in this photo.

I can also confirm that I am the decoy winner! Actually, Lynn already knew she was the WOTM when she sent me this card, but she sent it anyway “because who doesn’t love more postcards!” Truer words were never spoken on Postcrossing! Thank you for playing along, Lynn! Also, I love this card! I had seen it before but never managed to arrange a swap at the time. :star_struck:

I enjoyed June so very much. My mailbox was more full than usual (and luckily still functioning). Thank you everyone for sending me a piece of happiness.

@sarahaeyo I love the Hattie Stewart card. I can’t help but smile. I enjoyed your creativity with the back of the card. A big kudos to the Boston PO for using a big and clear postmark.

@StephofYorktown You hit so many of my likes with one card! I hope you had a great start to your summer at Chincoteague. I have only been as far as Assateague. I will have to cross the border next time.

@TravelWithMe Perfection in one card: Pottery from the Mesa Verde UNESCO site; Kitten; Family vacation!

@MuddyPawsPost At first I thought these tulip fields were outside of the US. I will just have to plan my trip to Washington during April. Thank you for sharing your love of spring. I so love it too.

@SharonMI Great vintage print. I will be doing a Great Lakes trip and look forward to Mackinac Island.

@CorinneJKS Another great vintage print. From one Washington to the other. I was able to see the cherry blossoms this year. My first look at the Bioluminescent stamp!

@debbiemilly I love the differences and similarities of the flags. Did Ontario and Manitoba look at each other’s answers? Thanks for sharing about Quebec.

@KristinaGisela A beautiful vintage card. I remember the 13c chipmunk stamp you used. I found out it, along with 7 other stamps, were issued in conjunction with Canada and was the first U.S. souvenir sheet to be released outside the US.

@sannah82 I would be very happy living somewhere in this picture. More vintage stamps, yes. I was discussing Captain James Cook with a coworker and then later that day, your card arrived with that stamp.
