What a shame about the British postmark over the Antarctic one. I’m not a stamp or postmark collector, but I feel a little sad that someone did that. Or allowed a machine to.

Here’s another chance to send a postcard from Antarctica while supporting the charity. This time there’s a festive twist.

The UK Antarctic Heritage Trust, a charity that conserves historic sites in Antarctica, is giving the opportunity to send a limited-edition, festive themed postcard with a personalised message from the world’s southernmost public post office at Port Lockroy in Antarctica :penguin: :postbox: to arrive at Christmas. They need to raise over £30,000 to enable essential repairs and maintenance at the site. Click on the link to play your part in Antarctica by sending a postcard for £20, making a donation or sharing this story with friends. Offer closes on 7 July!
