I’ve just noticed a download icon in my Chrome address bar. When I hover over it it says “Install Postcrossing Community” and clicking on it invites me to install an app. Is this new or have I been missing things?
It’s a thing provided by Discourse, the software the forum runs on. As far as I remember, it really just serves as a sort of bookmark that immediately opens up the Postcrossing forum for you. I think based on this thread on the Discourse app’s own forum it may also allow you to get notifications of replies in your topics.

I downloaded it when I joined in February. I’d recommend it. It works much better than the website, in my opinion.
