1. there was an article in a local paper back in 2006 when I joined
2. when I joined, it was very popular in my country (Finland) but where I live now (UK) it is not very popular
3. my mother-in-law is now a postcrosser
4. 20s and 30s, but I have seen the statistics

1. I learnt from my sister who saw a some kind of ad/banner wile browsing the Internet or forums.
2. Wouldn’t say it is very popular, Lithuania has over 8000 members (out of 2.7 M population). All the stats can be seen in the official Postcrossing page.
3. Just a few. Although I’m trying to spread the word when I can
4. There’s also some stats on that in the. I think quite popular among 40+ But hard to say.
