I express my deepest condolences on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Regardless of the relations between our countries, I cannot fail to note the role of this great woman for the people of England and for the whole world as a whole.

An entire era has ended. We will remember her with sadness, but with great respect and pride. A great woman who lived a long life. The whole world mourns with you.

She was quite a lady! and will be missed.

And I am looking forward to seeing the new King Charles take on the mantle of state. He has been a quiet force for environmental sanity and other important causes over the years; I hope as sovereign his influence in these important matters will make a much needed difference.
