My moedertaal is Afrikaans en ek sal met graagte aan julle skryf. Ek woon tans in Slowakye, maar is oorspronklik 'n Suid-Afrikaner.

Admittedly, the original is not 100% grammatically accurate. I am very impressed though. I can’t imagine why someone in America would want to learn Afrikaans, 
but I like it.
