I missed the actual moment, which occurred earlier this afternoon, but here we are, half way between 72 and 73 million postcards sent. So that was 38 days. Which, if postcards are registered at the same rate, means that we should pass the 73 million mark in another 38 days - 12 August.
My original guess was 14 August. I’m going to stick with that, though I’m very tempted to move it to a day or two earlier.
EDIT: When I guessed originally, I said that I thought the magic number might be a day or two earlier, so I’m going to go with my gut and change my guess to
