One of the admins does post a comment usually, and usually one gets a notification if there is a comment. Also, traditionally the millionth card gets many favourite hearts (if a picture was uploaded)

I haven’t checked the 72 millionth, but I know Paulo commented on the 71 millionth and 70 millionth. And either he or Ana usually let us know which postcard it is on these threads.

I think things are generally slower in the summer. BUT, I also think I might have made the prediction a bit late, because, it seems to me, that Postcrossing is busier this year than in recent years.
