A relative of mine is an elementary school teacher in Taiwan. In her class (I don’t know which grade), she used to play the Grave of Fireflies (1988) directed by Isao Takahata that made every student cry. I think every lucky Canadian should watch this animated film once in his/her lifetime, to learn about the madness of war.
