Hello all, we’ve been talking about this for a couple of meetups now, so I’m just making it official. The traditional Christmas market at the Folk Museum is in the works and we will visit as we have done several times before. This is a great place to find some unique Christmas presents, and of course the museum itself is always worth a visit. It is the oldest open air museum in the world and it is very charming with all its Christmas decorations at this time of year
As usual, bring postcards to write, sign or show off. Or just come and hang out with other Postcrossers. Welcome!
If you’re planning to attend, it’s great if you can let us know in this thread. I should probably book a table. But should we go to Arcadia (where I think the gluten free selection is pretty lousy) or should we go a little further afield to Hjemme hos svigers? Discuss in the comments!

Anyone interested in meetup cards for this? Thinking just a Christmas card type thing with logo and Christmas market meetup info, since noone has any suitable pictures. Let me know asap, we’ll need to order them soon if we want them. Thanks!

Update 20 November: 100 cards are ordered now. Regular shipping (which is now 110! They increased it by 10 kr!) since we can’t wait for Economy. 50 kr discount for orders over 500 kr, so total price incl shipping came to 647 kr = 6.5 kr per card. All 100 cards are spoken for, there are no more available.

On December 2nd, OBOS-member have free entry for themselves and up to four guests. Members do not need to reserve tickets, but can show proof of membership upon arrival at the entrance.
Public transport:** Bus 30 stops right by the entrance. Ruter will set up extra busses.
Cards arrived just now, looking quite nice. Amazed they arrived so quickly. I usually only order Economy shipping which takes like 2 weeks. Maybe it’s worth paying 110 kr for faster shipping
