Average travel time per country

I think it would be a great idea if there was an option to see what the average travel time to and from various countries is. I’m new to the site and I’m curious to know on average how long it takes postcards to get to their destination!
Is there already a way to view this that I just haven’t stumbled across yet?

Once you start sending postcards & as they are registered (once they are received by the person you sent them to) - those times will be listed on the Sent part of your profile page. It will have the actual days it took the card to travel. On your Stats page the average travel time based on the whole site’s data is listed.

Take a look at my page as an example:

If you look at the profiles of people who’ve been on the site for many years, more data from more countries is there. It’s neat to be able to look at this data, but remember with the pandemic, most postal services are slowed, some considerably, so many cards take longer right now.

Here’s a member from Dallas, TX to give you a better idea for your location:

There’s also a cool stats page for the whole site with some info about the members & the postcards.

@heidiblooms - I see you’re from USA. If you want to get an idea of the travelling times to and from USA, you can go to Explore > Search on the website. Then choose “Country: United States of America” > Seach > Order by postcards sent. Then open the profiles of the top senders > go to stats. Here you can see the stats of the #1 sender in USA, for instance: https://www.postcrossing.com/user/hmthompson/stats
