The main Atlanta, GA mail distribution center has been closed as USPS opens a new center in Palmetto, Georgia. There are changes also in where mail is being sent for processing.
The result is that the new facility is basically at a standstill and mail is being significantly delayed right now.
Just a heads up for those sending mail to the southeast part of the U.S. It may take longer for postcards to reach their destination.
