At the height of summer the postcrossers of Yeysk will gather to discuss how the summer is going and we will sign a beautiful postcard with the pearl of the Yeysk District of Krasnodar krai - The Dolgaya Spit (or Kosa Dolgaya). This is a favorite place for residents of the whole country to relax.
The Dolgaya Spit (or Kosa Dolgaya) is a sandy spit in the Sea of Azov. Lenth is 17 kilometers, the width is about 500 metres. The spit is located in Yeysky District of Krasnodar Krai in Russia. It separates Taganrog Bay from the Sea of Azov. Dolgaya Spit is a landscape nature sanctuary of Krasnodar Krai with unique sandy beaches, quite deep sea, fresh-water lakes, rich animal world and flora.
