в день встречи анонс, что б точно лишний не пришел? а как вы открытки печатали, если не знали сколько человек к вам придет?

и как организатор узнал при регистрации что встреча будет мини. Москва миллионик, если б о встречи знали, явно людей было бы больше. А тут я делаю вывод что это секретная встреча для своих. А если для СВОИХ значит эти люди не имеют право ставить лого на открытку. Основной принцип посткроссинга и встреч в частности - открытость. Даже если предположить что есть ковид ограничения, встреча все равно должна быть анонсирована за ранее, для всех!

агрессия? мне просто не понятна такая концепция встреч. Это не приемлемо. Хотите частные посиделки, ради бога. только не печатайте открытки с лого. все просто.
Если флаг не заметили, я с другой страны, так что персонального приглашения не ждала, а вот пост со встречей, где можно найти эти открытки, а потом посмотреть фото отчет, я читаю.

Наверное у организатора были на то причины. Зачем обвинять - если Вы изначально не знаете ситуацию? Вы можете связаться с организатором лично.

This meeting was not added to the meetings calendar and it is disappointing to see it was only announced on the day of the meeting itself.

Publishing the information about a meeting with such short notice does not allow other community members to realistically take part. If it is a closed event organized among friends, that’s fine — but that’s not a Postcrossing meetup.

We understand that there are restrictions in place due to the pandemic and/or that there might be a limited number of possible spots for participants. But that shouldn’t prevent meeting plans from being announced earlier so that postcrossers can consider to go and apply for one of the available spots. Surely this meeting wasn’t planned/decided on the day itself, as there was time to even design a postcard for it, so it could (and should) have been announced earlier — even if there was limit to the number of participants.

Speaking of the postcard design posted and it’s use of the logo:

  1. The permission to use the logo is only given if the meetup is published on the meetups calendar first — this is clearly stated on the Logo Guidelines. A meeting that is announced to the community only on the day of the meeting itself has no chance to even be considered to be added to the meetups calendar for others to know about it — and there’s no point in adding it on the day of the meeting itself as it doesn’t allow others to participate by then. Without having the meeting published on the meetups calendar, there is no permission to use the Postcrossing logo on meeting postcards. Announcing the plans to organize the meeting should always be the first step so that the community can get involved. Once it is added to the calendar, then there is permission to use the logo on the meetup cards for it.

  2. The logo can not be changed, but a border was added around it, making it seem to be part of the logo. Please do not change the logo in any way — this is the first rule on the list of things not allowed to do with the logo.

We hope in the future meetings are always announced in advance.
