MEETUP PLAN: We are celebrating 163 years since the birth of Anton Pavlovich Chekhov. The writer visited Tomsk in 1890 during a trip to Sakhalin. In 2004, a monument to Chekhov was erected on the Tomskaya embankment.
Our meeting will take place in the Presidential Hall of the Pushkin Library. We were warned that the hall could be chilly. You can take a thermos of tea with you. It is also necessary to arrive in advance for issuing / reissuing a library card. Take your passport and some cash. We gather in the foyer on the first floor, and a library employee escorts us to the Presidential Hall. See you!

Giving 4 days notice is not enough time for any prospective member to attend or guarantee that the event will get added to the calendar in time.
