Lakier Castle is a country estate built in 1861 for the first classifier of Russian heraldry, historian, Alexander Lakiera and his wife Elena Markovna Komnino-Varvatsi. The castle is located near Taganrog, in the Golden Spit area. This is the only building in the style of Russian Neo-Gothic in the Rostov region. The building requires restoration and is under threat of extinction. We will sign a postcard with the historical owners of the building to draw public attention to the problem of the disappearance of this architectural monument in the Rostov region.
