DATE: 23.03.2024,
TIME: 10:30 Uhr
MEETUP PLAN:
Go on an exciting journey and experience the history of immigration and emigration across four eras in the BallinStadt Emigration Museum in Hamburg. In a total of three houses on 2,500 square meters in our museum in Hamburg, you will accompany people with all their wishes and dreams that they took with them on their way to a new home. Get to know Albert Ballin, the founder of the former emigrant halls in Hamburg, and follow in the footsteps of your ancestors in the BallinStadt family research center.
At a historic location, the BallinStadt Hamburg emigration museum focuses on emigration via Hamburg (1850 - 1934) and the development of migration over four eras. Always accompanied by human longings, fates and stories. The reasons for migration are still timeless today. Escape from war, hunger and persecution or simply a sense of adventure, curiosity and the dream of a new (better) life are then as now the motivation for emigration and therefore immigration. (Tickets - Auswanderermuseum BallinStadt Hamburg)
We meet in front of the museum and then the visit begins. After aprox two hourss, we got to a restaurant : est, drink , talk and are busy with our postcards. I will chose a restaurant when I’ll know, how many people we are.
There are only 15 places, to make sure, that we have enough time to talk.I beg you not to let stamp more than 30 cards.
Ticket 13,90 € regular
