We’ll meet in front of the Main Post Office (Andreja Kmeťa 11).
For those traveling by train - from Vrútky railway station by bus 10, 20, 30 (direction “Dopravný podnik”) or 11, 31 (direction “Ľadoveň”) and get off at the Hlavná pošta stop. Martin railway station is within walking distance.
A short walk takes us to the Museum of the Culture of Czechs in Slovakia (specific part of the Slovak National Museum Múzeum kultúry Čechov na Slovensku SNM, Martin ) where we will see the exhibition (approx. 30 minutes). Afterwards, we will walk through the city center with several important buildings in relation to Slovak history. The next stop will be the National Cemetery ( https://www.narodnycintorin.com ). The cemetery contains the graves and artistically valuable grave objects of more than 300 important personalities of Slovak cultural, scientific, and national life. We will hear an explanation about the most important of them.
After cultural program we will have the meeting from 13:30 at the restaurant Pasáž ( https://pasazmt.sk, M. R. Štefánika 48 ).
