On August 17 Samovar Day is celebrated in Russia. The samovar is the national pride of Russia. It has become a symbol of kindness, home comfort and family peace. Now the folk tradition of gathering for tea at the samovar has almost been forgotten, and many of the younger generation have never seen a samovar at all. But we will try to preserve the traditions of tea drinking from the samovar. On this day we will not only drink tea, but we will embroider a beautiful set with a samovar pattern. We will also sign two postcards. The first one is dedicated to the Samovar Day in Russia, and the second one is dedicated to our embroidery with a samovar.
